First and foremost: a huge thank you to Hoßl Event (Speichersdorf, Germany) for giving me this incredible opportunity. Being invited (and thrown) into the family was an incredible experience.
Equipped with 'only' my Canon 7D Mkii, a 24-70 2.8f, and no concert photography experience. I did my research, listened to the bands, and came up with what I thought would be a decent plan. However, noone can truly be prepared to be repeatedly temporarily blinded by those stage strobes through a 10 year old DSLR viewfinder...or any of the other obstacles that come with (first time) concert photography. There was a LOT of learning the hard way, but I took away a ton of new knowledge and experience that I hope I get to use with confidence very soon.
All of the bands and their team members were incredible on and off stage. Thank you to everyone, I truly will never be able to say it enough. I can't wait to see where this goes.
